The Dahill Group is pleased to be assisting our client, a major energy industry service provider across North America, in search of an exceptional Project Engineer Gas to join their team. This position is responsible for the safe and successful design, development and execution of natural gas facilities including compression, liquefaction, CNG or LNG storage solutions and pipeline connections/associated laterals to support various power projects across the US.
- Coordinate with power team to provide preliminary engineering and planning estimates/timing for pipeline connections and backup storage solutions (CNG or LNG) on proposed power projects
- Coordinate with business development and gas supply teams to plan and execute receipt point facility contracts with pipelines
- Develop and present project execution plans (capital budget, timing, sourcing strategies, risk mitigation, etc.) for projects seeking FID
- Manage permitting, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of gas pipelines, CNG and LNG storage projects
- Validate and approve invoices for project materials and services
- Provide regular reports of milestones met, projected cost/schedule, and potential risks and mitigations for assigned projects
- Ensure handoff to operations is organized, documented and complete
- Organize and facilitate project lookbacks, document successes and learnings
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Petroleum Engineering
- Recent experience managing the planning and execution of scheduled-driven projects of $30MM or more, preferably for oil and gas pipelines/facilities or power plants
- Strong experience (10+ years) with pipeline and facility engineering, permitting, construction and commissioning.- Experience with LNG liquefaction or storage and virtual pipelines a plus

Base Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 - commensurate with experience
LTI – Qualifies for LTI in RSU’s with an anticipated target of 20%
NOTE: This position will be based and required to work on-site in the Denver office.
