Project Coordinator

Description

The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our growing team in New Albany. In this role, you'll be an essential part of our project team, ensuring projects stay on track, within budget, and in full compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounting or project support experience to grow their career in the construction industry. What You'll Do Project Documentation & Organization

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, and other critical records

- Ensure all project files are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible

Communication & Coordination

- Serve as a key communication hub between project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders

- Keep all parties informed of project updates, requirements, and changes

Procurement & Logistics Support

- Assist with procurement processes from obtaining quotes to ordering materials

- Coordinate deliveries and manage logistics to keep projects moving smoothly

Project Monitoring & Support

- Support the Project Manager in monitoring subcontractor work scope

- Ensure all work meets contractual obligations and quality standards

Reporting & Budget Management

- Prepare regular status reports highlighting achievements, upcoming milestones, and issues requiring attention

- Track project expenses and manage budget variances

- Provide timely updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or project management support (construction industry experience preferred)

- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Proficiency with project management and financial tracking tools

- This is an office-based position with no travel required
