We have an opening in the Competitor Pulverizer parts group for a project administrator. This role is very active opposite our Customers, Vendors, Sales and others within the B&W organization. This role helps to identify products and develop proposals in support of Customer requests, as well as assist in executing orders by working with vendors and internal teams to monitor shipments and deliveries to our customers.
•Field and respond to requests for quotes and/or orders from both internal and external Customers.
•Research requests / execute quotes as needed by entry / check supply sources / release quotes.
•Create part numbers / create purchase requisitions / expedite shipments
•Respond to issues, as needed, from shops and external Customers
•Follow up to see that work and/or shipments are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner
•Support team and Customers with highest level of Customer service
•Able to work remote or from Akron office
•Solid business background with very strong Customer-service capability is preferred
•Ability to understand technical issues is a plus – boms, assembly drawings, etc..
•Good interactive/team skills are preferred
•VIS experience, as well as MS Word, Excel and MS Office are needed for this position. Vendor Server is a plus.
•Ability to work independently handling multiple tasks
