Overall Responsibility:
•This position serves as the Programming and Support Specialist for the Service division and will be
supported by the LVS PMA Manager, Low Voltage Service Manager, and Service Coordinator.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
•Provide technical support for customers, Pre-Deployment projects, Service, PMA’s and APIC technicians
when approved by 07 Management.
•Perform in office Pre-Deployments and onsite deployment of large networks.
•Maintain accurate timecard entries.
•Communicate with LVS PMA and Service Manager all progress of any work that will require additional
time.
•Attend meetings for Pre-Deployment status, reports, and follow up.
•Check-out with LVS PMA and Service Manager at end of each day.
•Assist with any assigned and approved systems programming for APIC solutions
•Assist with select PMA’s when requested.
•Assist with incoming technical support calls and inquiries.
•Complete and keep current on all provided training.
o Avigilon, Verkada, AVA, ThreeSixty, West-Com, Bosch, DSC, Etc.
•Assist in the development and Training of technicians assigned to Pre-Deployment projects, PMA’s and
Service
•Maintain required certifications and keep current with best practices and new product knowledge.
•Attending Monthly Service Division meetings.
•Complete and turn in weekly required paperwork including:
o Expense receipts, timecards, workorders, and Pre-Deployment sheets
•Minimum 2 years of experience installing low voltage special systems and/or data infrastructure for
medium and large commercial projects.
•Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
•Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and vehicle liability insurance.
•Understanding of basic customer relationship management.
•Have good working knowledge of low voltage special systems and data infrastructure installation
practices.
•Be able to operate a PC regardless of OS and have a broad knowledge of how IP addresses and
networks work.
•Excellent writing and presentation skills.
•Must possess current Journeyman License (ES-3J, ES-7J)
•Ability to use a ladder, high lift, scissor lift, and bucket truck and work at heights.
•Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for the position.
•Must be detail oriented, have multitasking abilities, handle tight, time-sensitive deadlines.
•Must be willing and be able to travel. While travel is usually limited to a day trip, the candidate must be
open to service that may require extended stays at longer periods of time.
•Must be a team player, self-motivated, and career oriented, with a desire to contribute to the growth of
the company.
•Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
