While this position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.
What does a Program Specialist or Senior do for us?
They manage and/or create energy efficiency and/or demand response programs or other customer offerings. Their role includes program design, process development and system integration, coordination of marketing and communications, contract management, daily operations, payment processing, and reporting of results. A Senior Program Specialist also acts as the subject matter expert with comprehensive, specific, and progressive knowledge related to the program or area of discipline.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people. Position also requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop and squat, ascend / descend stairs, ladders, climb in to and out of vehicles; twist, kneel, balance; rarely crawl. Rarely lift 10 lbs. shoulder height and above; rarely lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. waist high and knee high; rarely use exertional force less than 50 lbs.; occasionally use two hands to carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and one hand to carry items weighing up to 25 lbs. Must be able to withstand confined spaces and heights. The above is a summary of the primary essential functions of the position.
