We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Associate to support the daily operations of multiple energy efficiency programs across the Midwest. This person will work closely with the Program Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth program execution, maintain strong client relationships, and help achieve key performance goals. This is a dynamic support role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about sustainability and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide daily operational and administrative support for multiple energy efficiency programs, including tracking deliverables, scheduling, and internal coordination.
•Assist with client communication, including responding to inquiries, preparing meeting notes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
•Support coordination between clients, subcontractors, and internal staff (field, outreach, and technical teams) to meet program goals.
•Maintain and update program documentation, including project plans, process flows, trackers and checklists.
•Assist with reporting of key performance metrics; help identify trends and suggest process improvements.
•Contribute to strategic planning sessions by providing operational insights, identifying workflow gaps, and supporting the development of action plans that align with broader program goals
•Track budgets, goals, and timelines to ensure alignment with contractual obligations; support forecasting and progress updates.
•Stay current on energy efficiency trends and support the team in developing ideas for program enhancement and innovation.
Qualifications:
•1–3 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or administrative support, preferably in energy, sustainability, or utility programs.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
•Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), project tracking tools, and CRM systems (Salesforce a plus).
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
•Passion for energy efficiency, clean energy, or environmental impact work is a plus.
