We are looking for a Program Manager for Hardware Product Development to join our dynamic, fast-paced Energy Storage team. As a Program Manager, you will manage product development execution activities, that will include managing product development costs, schedules, program scope, risk, changes, documentation, status reporting, vendor relationships and coordinating information with other stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of program management experience in a hardware product development environment. Experience with product development for energy storage and renewable energy applications a plus.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
Program Management experience in hardware product development. Knowledge about the role of a Program Manager for hardware product development. Proficient in MS Project, MS Office Suite and JIRA/Asana for task tracking. Applicant must have good English communication skills (Mandarin a strong plus), be motivated, organized, self-sufficient, personable, curious, and able to complete tasks without strict oversight. Passion for innovation, ability to adapt to fast changing market demands, working independently and as a team member. Willingness to take ownership of issues and initiatives. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Strong work ethic. Energetic and enthusiastic approach.
Activities:
The individual in this position will play a key role in defining the product development activities, creating the budget and schedule for the program. Communicate program status and keep the cross-functional team informed on near term activities and issues. The individual in this position will have responsibility for following the phase gate product development process and for expediting tasks to keep the program on track. The individual will also set priorities for the development team and track that the team is executing as expected.
