With over six decades of operations, Wolverine has grown consistently. Currently we are seeking a Program Manager experienced in metal stamping and fabrication background to join our team!
As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
•overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of new programs within the organization.
•coordinating various teams and resources to ensure that the program is successfully initiated and meets its objectives.
Key responsibilities may include:
•developing launch plans, defining project scope and timelines
•allocating resources, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and communicating updates to stakeholders
•conduct post-launch evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
•play a critical role in driving the successful introduction of new programs, products, or services to market.

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business, or ten (10) years of technical experience.
•Must have 5 to 7 years’ experience in Precision Metal Working environment, particularly with progressive and transfer dies, preferably with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier, with strong program management skills (10 years is Preferred)
•Background in stamping tool and die design is advantageous
•Proficiency in MS Office products, including project.
•Familiarity with GD&T is desirable.
Responsibility and duties:
•Oversee all aspects of new customer programs and assigned projects, ensuring delivery of quality products within specified timelines and budgets.
•Lead cross-functional teams comprising Sales, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and other relevant departments to achieve program objectives.
•Implement and promote a disciplined program management approach, including phased gate review processes, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
•Monitor team performance using timing plans, open issue tracking, and management of design, process, and cost changes.
•Coordinate production process development, tooling, and capital equipment installation activities with respective functional or facility project launch teams.
•Ensure completion of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables to meet program requirements.
•Facilitate collaboration between Sales, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to establish team accountability and serve as a liaison with customers and suppliers as needed.
•Lead feasibility and risk analysis process for new product quotes and engineering changes to existing products.
•Assist Sales department in cost modeling and quoting new products and engineering changes to existing products.
•Perform detailed product, tooling, and equipment cost analysis to support and manage program budgets.
•Lead commercial negotiations with customers and / or vendors as needed to support successful program launches.
Prefer a background in multiple disciplines related to program launches: Manufacturing, Tooling, Engineering, Quality, Sales,.
