Production Welder

Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Production Welder will work in conjunction with other staff on the shop floor, to achieve production goals, and to meet the needs of our valued customers. This position will work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure continuous improvements in work cells, hitting quotas, welding according to pre-set parameters using MIG, ARC and TIG welding processes. Key Tasks & Duties:

- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)

- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications

- Operate metal shaping machines such as brake press, shears and other metal straightening and bending machine

- Repair parts of metal products by welding on extra layers

- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment

- Maintain safe work practices

Job Qualifications:

- 4+ Years of Welding Experience

- Possess a valid driver’s license (preferred)

- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.

Salary Range is based on skills, experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
