Welder

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role involves working with different materials and performing tasks that require precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities

- Lays out, positions and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications

- Designs, fabricates, installs and/or repairs various types of metal objects and structures by using various welding techniques

- Installs or repairs equipment such as heavy equipment, bins, etc.

- Operates drill presses, grinder, power saws, metal lathes and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools

- Welds components and assemblies using arc and/or other welding equipment

- Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions

- Recommends supplies and materials to be ordered

Requirements:

- High School Graduate/GED

- Must be able to speak and write English

- Be safety oriented

- Must have own transportation and possess current driver license

- Minimum of two years of welding experience or completion of an accredited two to four year welder's training program

- Skills in the fabrication, joining and repair of a variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures and structures

- Willing to work weekends

- Ability to stand for long periods of time

- Able to work independently

- Must work outdoors

- Pass a pre-employment drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
