The Welder is responsible for general welding, fabrication, and repair of company equipment, operational fleet, and facility maintenance. This includes performing repairs, equipment improvements, and new fabrication projects to support the overall success of Deep Well Services.

- Travel Required: Up to 25%
- Reports To: HV Maintenance Manager
- Schedule: Local schedule to meet industry demands. May include evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Pay Rate: $22.00 – $33.08 per hour DOE
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous verifiable welding and fabrication experience required. TIG/MIG welding and stainless/aluminum welding experience preferred. Open to both entry-level and experienced candidates based on prior work history and skillset.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license; must meet company driving requirements.
- Other Requirements: Must pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
- Adhere to all shop policies, procedures, and quality management standards.
- Perform welding repairs, improvements, and fabrication on oilfield service equipment.
- Inspect equipment visually to ensure proper performance and identify faults or deficiencies.
- Read and follow blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Safely operate company equipment, including forklifts and telehandlers, as needed.
- Perform prequalified welds in GMAW/FCAW/SMAW processes according to DWS standards.
- Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently following established procedures.
- Collaborate with Quality Manager to fulfill nonconformance procedure requirements.
- Complete large repair projects with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate with field staff regarding equipment repairs and scheduling.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
