JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor provides daily leadership by overseeing manufacturing operations, ensuring timely production, adherence to quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Analyze job orders, production capabilities, and estimated process times to determine the daily production schedule. Collaborate with the Scheduling Department to align on daily work assignments.
•Lead the daily department stand up meetings to communicate the schedule, set goals, and motivate the team.
•Drive weekly output goals by monitoring schedule attainment, billable hours, on-time delivery, and operational performance adjusting the schedule and managing manpower as needed (e.g., Operation 1000 and Operation 4000).
•Track and report on company performance metrics, including minimum billable hours, on-time delivery, schedule attainment and monthly and quarterly sales.
•Ensure all team members are properly trained and up to date on company policies, procedures and operational standards.
•Manage cross-training initiatives to create a flexible and versatile workforce.
•Coach team members by providing real-time feedback and support to drive continuous performance improvement.
•Partner with the Quality Department to identify and resolve production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with company and customer standards.
•Conduct audits and inspections to maintain adherence to internal and external quality standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing operations management, or related field and at least one year of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
•Experience with production scheduling, workforce planning, and performance tracking.
•Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
•Proficient in interpreting job orders and using production planning tools or ERP systems.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
