We are seeking a dedicated CNC Production Supervisor to oversee and optimize our production operations. - Coordinate with Foreman: Manage and coordinate shop production to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.
- Promote Urgency: Cultivate and maintain a sense of urgency throughout the shop to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Quote New Work: Develop accurate and competitive quotes for new work, contributing to business growth.
- Evaluate Work: Assess existing work for profitability and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Plan: Develop comprehensive plans for job routings, work centers, personnel, material, and tooling requirements.
- Manage & Train Personnel: Lead, train, and mentor team members, and establish training and promotion guidelines.
- Process Troubleshooting: Assist with troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
- Machine Utilization: Oversee and enhance machine utilization and uptime to ensure optimal performance.
- Customer Communication: Manage communication with customers, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required to support production and operational goals.
- Proven experience in CNC machining and production management, with a solid understanding of CNC operations and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of financial statements and the ability to interpret and manage business finances is a plus.
