Handle raw materials and finished goods in production facility. Receive instruction from production manager to load proper products in designated amounts. Offload and load tanker and dry-van trailers.
Typical hours will be between 6 am - 8am until 3pm - 5pm.
· Completes required paperwork prior to starting job.
· Load products into mixing tanks in designated weights and amounts.
· Work with QC lab when needed to achieve proper final product specifications.
· Ability to perform simple mathematics to achieve proper batch weight for final products.
· Remain calm in a fast-paced environment, take pride in your work.
· Properly dispose of all necessary waste only as designated by production supervisor.
· Communicates with Supervisors, Operators, and Adjusters on and off shift.
· Complies with safety rules and regulations (wear proper safety attire; steel toed shoes or coverings, hearing protection when necessary, safety glasses, shields and gloves as needed), is not involved in horseplay, is cautious when near equipment and machines, always make sure safety guards are in place and operational. Maintains clean machine and work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc).
· Frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
· Must be able to climb steps to load raw materials.
· Must be able to climb ladders on tank trucks, utilizing all proper fall protection techniques.
· Occasional exposure to hazardous materials – all employees will be familiar with readily available SDS sheets and proper PPE requirements for all materials handled.
