Production Coordinator
Tourmaline Oil Corp. is a senior Canadian crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company. We are focused on long-term growth through an aggressive exploration, development, and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
PRIMARY FOCUS
The Production Coordinator will be primarily responsible for managing data, process, reporting and day to day support in our Field Data Capture systems. This role involves working closely with different departments to ensure data accuracy, integrity and that our Business Processes are being adhered to. This is a full-time in office position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for, or assist with the following:
•Assist in administering the ProdView application and validation of volumetrics with TOU stakeholders
•Assist in new well setups, measurement equipment setups and general configuration in ProdView
•Provide application support to ProdView stakeholders on a day-to-day basis
•Assist Production Accounting when required with volumetric discrepancies, proration issues, etc.
•Assist in creating streamlined workflows including but not limited to New well setups, flow changes and rig scrubber moves
•Assist in creating Power BI reports to satisfy data request from different business groups
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSET
•An undergraduate degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, Science, or certificate in a technical field would be considered an asset
•At least five years of industry experience
•Analytics and/or production operations knowledge would be beneficial
•Previous ProdView or other field data capture experience would be considered an asset
•SQL knowledge would be considered an asset
•Power BI knowledge would be considered an asset
•Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
•Self-starter with the ability to self-prioritize tasks
•Team player with a proven ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines and demonstrate sound judgement
•Strong interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills are necessary to engage with Stakeholders and employees at all levels throughout the organization
•Able to work independently within a small team environment
•Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
•Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
