To coordinate manpower, machines and materials to maximize production efficiency in compliance with the Meridian Management Systems, in order to meet customer demands and key performance indicators. Guide and mentor individuals within the area, modeling effective communication and leadership skills. Requires development and adherence to the Meridian Lean System principles.
a. Promote the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment by maintaining daily housekeeping audits, developing standards for housekeeping and safety, providing safety conscious leadership.
b. Ensure assigned employees are properly trained, lead 5S activities, conduct routine safety and housekeeping audits, investigate and document accidents and incidents involving or potentially involving injury and/or property damage.
c.Take immediate actions when an unsafe condition or opportunity for concern is identified. The goal is “0” lost time accidents and no housekeeping complaints.
b. Ensure associates are properly trained and skilled to perform assigned tasks.
c. Quality performance monitoring rejected checks and taking appropriate action to correct and contain defects from getting to the Customer.
d. To establish goals and plans for each cell on the reduction of scrap.
e. Inspire the production team to drive to excellence and improving to the target to zero defects.
a. Implement and monitor uptime improvements to meet or exceed OEE targets in area assigned across all shifts.
b. Monitor SQDCM Boards to ensure the boards are properly maintained. Educate and coach Team Leaders to ensure understanding of the related information.
c. Organize work for smooth operations and maintain production levels that meet or exceed scheduled quality and productivity targets.
d. Review production schedules and delivery schedule and make decisions regarding resources needed to minimize the need for overtime.
e. Monitor and manage labor for area of responsibility and ensure optimization and proper deployment.
f. Provide a detailed shift hand-off report to oncoming Supervisor
a. Continually look for ways to improve employee safety, product quality and delivery, operating cost, and employee morale
b. Monitor and ensure tasks performed are meeting the standard work.
c. Perform standard work including routine evaluation of each cell on scheduled intervals no less than 4 times a day.

b. Supervise personnel performing a wide range of tasks including operating die cast machines and secondary equipment, quality inspection and record keeping, material handling and transportation, tool and equipment maintenance, repairs and activities.
c. Train, evaluate, and provide necessary guidance to assigned personnel.
d. Coordinate, approve and communicate employee’s time & attendance profile within company policy and labor law.
e. Ensure that established rules, regulations, policies and procedures are followed.
