Overview Vorteq Coil Finishers is now accepting applications for a full-time Production & Data Entry/Shipping Clerk to support our team at our fast-paced manufacturing plant in Valencia, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data entry, customer service support, scanning paperwork, filing and assisting with inventory management tasks. Watch the video below to learn more about what we do at Vorteq* Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Data retrieval, reporting, verification and validation, maintaining a high standard of accuracy in all data entry and ensuring any discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner Adherence to data entry standards and procedures Provide customer service support by answering inquiries and assisting with logistical coordination. Scan, file, and maintain physical and digital paperwork, ensuring it is routed to the correct departments Accurately enter loads into the company's data management systems, ensuring correct data is uploaded in a timely manner Match pulled tags to packers to ensure accurate shipments and Inventory Control Assist the Shipping/Receiving Manager and Production Inventory Analyst with inventory management and data entry tasks Support the accuracy of inventory by verifying items, assisting in tracking, and performing data entry for stock levels Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations Ensure compliance with all safety and cleanliness standards within the plant environment Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Proficient in reading and writing, mathematical skills with the ability to understand basic measurements Previous experience in data entry or clerical work, preferably in a plant or manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word), experience with data management systems a plus Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members Good communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision, multitask, meet deadlines and work under pressure Ability to adapt to changing environments and assist with tasks as needed Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
