Position Summary
The Product Support Sales Representative is responsible for selling, servicing, and renting generators to customers across the Northern Territory of Texas. This territory includes, but is not limited to, Montgomery, Liberty, Walker, and San Jacinto Counties. In addition, the representative drives sales of company parts, services, extended warranties, and Service & Maintenance Contracts.
The ideal candidate will reside in or near the assigned territory, preferably within or close to Montgomery, Liberty, Walker, or San Jacinto Counties.
Essential Duties
•Prepare, review and submit service & maintenance agreements, extended warranty coverages, and repair quotes to customers
•Use Salesforce (SF) to track customer activity. This includes phone calls and in-person visits. In addition, use SF to track sales opportunity including all wins, losses and deals using the sales funnel approach
•Communicate frequently with customers and meet their needs in a professional and timely manner
•Work closely and regularly communicate with internal sales, service, parts and management to ensure customer satisfaction
•Employ a “consultative selling” approach to identify and manage customer expectations
•Maintain and keep current customer equipment inventory utilizing SF
•Regularly attend industry and customer events and represent WPP in a professional manner
•Bring to work a positive “can do-it” attitude and work in a cooperative manner with customers, team members and superiors
•Increase service sales and market share on service and maintenance agreements in the Houston area
•Maintain customer and prospect lists
•Coordinates regular customer visits and follow-up
•Perform site audits, technical reviews of customer equipment, and prepare service related proposals
•Promotes external and internal customer relations and good will by investigating customer concerns, researching and providing justification material when required, and communicating those findings promptly to all concerned
•Provide backup to service team as needed, including occasional after hours or vacation coverage responsibility
•Works with various vendors to solicit parts or services required to support any proposed service activity
•Maintains up to date maintenance contract pricing.

•Wear proper PPE when necessary.
Qualifications
•3+ years of related sales experience
•Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred
•Willing to cold call customers
•Possess a valid Texas driver’s license
•One to three years in sales administrative support (or related) role
•Experience in power generation is a plus
•Must be familiar with Salesforce.com and QuickBooks
