Job Summary:
The Sales Support – Tonnage role is vital to ensuring high-quality service by effectively communicating with both service providers and internal Sales and Accounting teams. This role includes a variety of responsibilities, with a focus on accurate data entry, customer communication, and service verification. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are key to success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
•Review and verify customer activity pages to confirm service completion and job site accuracy.
•Accurately input total tonnage data for Roll Off dumpsters into the system.
•Ensure tonnage data aligns with service provider reports.
•Conduct outbound calls to service providers to gather service updates, tonnage info, etc.
•Enter customer and job site information accurately into the customer database.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers.
•Develop thorough knowledge of company services, pricing structures, and business lines.
•Be familiar with unique account requirements and provider expectations.
•Collaborate effectively with coworkers across multiple departments.
•Use sound judgment in escalating customer or provider concerns.
•Communicate professionally with a diverse internal customer and external provider base.
•Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Proficient in PC applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Windows OS).
•Possess one or more of the following:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•1+ years of experience in a call center or customer service role
