Maternity Leave contract - Product specialist
The Product Specialist is expected to provide technical support, pricing, guidance to customers throughout the order process including but not limited to initiating a Sales Order, Vendor PO, Expediting, Logistics and Documentation support. This position works closely with our internal and external customers to coordinate and finalize all the steps related to customer order intake.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
•Prepare Quotes (as required)
•Provide support to Sales regarding creation of Quotes
•Follow up on Quotes with Sales / Customers (as required) and update the ERP in a timely manner
•Provide requested support on the order process (i.e.: follow up with customers, communicate with vendors, negotiate pricing with vendor)
•Ensure all specs/documents required for each order/quote are received, correct
•Ensure all technical specs/documents are attached to corresponding forms in the ERP (i.e.: SOs, POs, Quotes…)
•Enter Customer Orders and Vendor Purchase Orders through our ERP System upon ensuring accuracy of all relevant information including pricing, shipment information and terms and conditions and work with Customers/Vendors to correct any discrepancies
•Monitor, expedite and report upon all relevant scheduled shipment dates including late shipments for our Customers/Vendors within our ERP System
•Monitor and co-ordinate daily incoming and outgoing orders with our Distribution Center (DC) Leads as well as reporting upon the status of all HOT inbound and outbound shipments
•Liaison with other Product Specialist’s regarding order creation & status’ (SOs & POs) as required
•Inventory review and analysis including procurement and forecasting
•Review inbound stock (as required) to ensure vendor met all requested specs / configs
•Create Tasks in the ERP as required
•Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory changes, etc.. to obtain industry knowledge and maintain/gain competitive advantage
•Maintain and foster relationship with key vendors
•Identify opportunities for improvement
•Keep Sales, Team Lead abreast of any challenge / risks
•Work with your supervisor to identify training opportunities
•Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
Qualifications:
•2+ years of inside sales/customer service/ order Management experience
•College Diploma in business administration or a similar field
•Technical aptitude of products and business lines
•Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
•Ability to prioritize workload
•Attention to detail is paramount
•Intermediate Microsoft Suite experience
•Knowledge of NetSuite is considered a strong asset
•Must be able to work in a team environment
