Overview:
This position provides critical support within a procurement operations team, focusing on purchasing, logistics coordination, and vendor communication for marine operations. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This is a hybrid position based in Houston, TX, with occasional travel to San Ramon, CA (up to 3 times per year).
Responsibilities:
•Process new purchase requisitions and issue Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
•Coordinate logistics support for assigned vessels
•Review and approve vendor invoices
•Communicate effectively with international stakeholders, occasionally outside standard business hours
•Travel to San Ramon, CA up to three times annually as directed
•Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding processes as required
Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field preferred.
•2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or purchasing; Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
•Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment
•Must be a Houston-local candidate
•Experience with work order management systems (e.g., IBM Maximo)
•Strong organizational and communication skills
•Flexible and culturally aware, with a collaborative mindset
