The Central Procurement Specialist is responsible for the strategic procurement of materials and goods to meet the demands of the business. Leveraging advanced supply chain and purchasing expertise, this role operates autonomously to execute progressively complex and variable scopes of work. The specialist utilizes Entergy's purchasing processes, systems, and tools to identify the most appropriate sourcing channels, delivery methods, and commercial terms to ensure cost-effective, efficient, and compliant procurement. Key interfaces include internal business units, suppliers, and other Supply Chain teams.
This role is critical in ensuring Entergy's procurement activities are executed in a safe, cost-effective, and compliant manner. The Central Procurement Specialist will play a key part in supporting the business's material needs and driving continuous improvement in the supply chain.
