Procurement Specialist

- Build relationships with outside suppliers and customers

- Develop and manage RFP’s, RFQ’s, PO’s and Bid Agreements

- Manage and keep current vendor MSA and contacts database

- Oversight of all procurement support throughout the organization

- Develop and refine procurement procedures and standards within the organization.

- Work directly with all engineering disciplines within the organization to support project procurement needs.

- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, as well as the supplier’s reputation and history

- Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance; implement vendor tracking guidelines and metrics for consistent evaluation/reporting

- Monitor shipments to ensure goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

- 2-5 years of procurement experience

- Experience with MSA’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s, PO’s and Bid Agreements

- Ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work, be detail-oriented, understand when urgency is required and use good judgment in various situations.

- Ability to problem-solve.

- Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks & priorities

- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally, while maintaining a client service orientation.

- Excellent negotiation skills

- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

- Ability to listen and communicate with clients and internal engineering disciplines, and understand their needs and expectations

Compensation And Benefits

Compensation (i.e. Base Salary) is negotiable and shall be offered commensurate with experience.

- Expected Base Salary Range: $55,000 / year – $80,000 / year
