Job Description:

The purpose of the Procurement Intern is dependent on the departmental requirements.


Internship Requirements

- One‑year commitment from June 1, 2026, through May 28, 2027

- Summer - full time (32-40 hours per week)

- Fall/Spring/Winter - based on school schedule

- 100% on-site, no remote option

- Eligibility for employment in the US is required without sponsorship (ex. OPT, F1, etc.)


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Assist with financials system data entry and cleanup (i.e. closing purchase orders)

- Assist with inventory cycle count (support Procurement Clerk with reporting and filing)

- Work with suppliers on insurance submission and compliance Provide front desk/switchboard back up

- Fulfill 1018 form requests for districts/departments

- Backup Procurement staff (create new parts for materials/catalog items, and enter pricing updates)

- Support the Sourcing team as needed

- Support the Supplier Diversity Program manager as needed

- Assist with supplier onboarding

- Assist with audit requests

- Support the supplier risk management and contract management programs

- Assist with setting up training Perform other duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Program study in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Transportation & Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet defined deadlines.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheets, Microsoft Project).

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Valid Drivers License


Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00
