So, what will you be doing?•In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing the fiber supply across Southern NA for all wood pellet producing facilities. The core responsibilities and duties include:
•Work closely with the local Plant Manager and central Procurement team to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives are met
•Supports the pellet plants through the planning and execution of fiber purchases for the assigned facility
•Foster a data-driven approach to develop and sustain a low cost/high margin fiber supply strategy
•Support compliance with forest certification standards, lead role in internal and external audit processes
•Implementing purchasing process improvements to support business goals with emphasis on supplier management, supplier improvement, inventory management, and continuity of supply
Key Accountabilities:
•Be a proactive safety leader, creating a “Safety First” culture
•Manage weekly/monthly fiber inventory counts
•Communicate with fiber suppliers
•Manage the execution of the fiber plan
•Assist in the development of fiber plan and budget
•Management of 3LOG/LIMS sources and contracts, including settlement of load disputes and reconciliation of fiber receipts
Who you are?
•Bachelors degree in Forestry or natural resources, supply chain management, business or related field or equivalent educational experience
•Advanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel; proficient with PowerPoint and Word
•Must be analytical and data-driven
•Ability to use statistical analysis tools a plus
•Experience with 3Log/Aldata, PowerBI, and GIS an advantage
•Superb attention to detail
•Project & time management skills are necessary
•High level of personal integrity and professionalism
