Job Summary:

Sisneros Bros. Manufacturing is seeking a proactive and strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team in Belen. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing our procurement processes, fostering strong vendor relationships, and driving cost-effective purchasing decisions. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking individual who can build robust systems, manage both project-based and routine inventory procurement, and actively seek opportunities to improve overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Vendor Relationship Management:

•

Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with existing and potential vendors.

•

Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and cost standards.

•

Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing.

•

Strategic Purchasing Oversight:

•

Oversee all purchasing decisions, ensuring alignment with project requirements and company objectives.

•

Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.

•

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.

•

Project-Based and Routine Inventory Management:

•

Manage procurement for specific projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

•

Oversee routine inventory purchasing, maintaining accurate stock levels and preventing shortages.

•

Develop and implement inventory management systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

•

System Development and Forward-Thinking:

•

Build and implement efficient procurement systems and processes.

•

Proactively identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions.

•

Anticipate future procurement needs and develop long-term strategies.

•

Operational Curiosity and Opportunity Identification:

•

Demonstrate a strong interest in understanding the overall manufacturing operation.

•

Actively seek opportunities to improve efficiency and contribute to the company's growth.

Work with other departments to create smooth transitions of materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
