As a Procurement Specialist, you will be integral to our supply chain management, focusing on sourcing and purchasing goods and services to meet organizational needs. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will utilize your core skills in negotiation and vendor management, while leveraging premium skills in SAP and ERP systems to optimize procurement processes. Key Responsibilities:
Procurement
•Action RFQs and execute the procurement of fabrications, components, and services required for automation projects. Collaborate with project managers to understand project needs and ensure the timely acquisition of supplies.
•Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including creating and processing purchase orders, tracking order status, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Budget & Cost Control:
•Monitor procurement costs and stay within project budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses while maintaining high-quality standards.
Compliance & Quality Management:
•Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities. Identify quality issues with components and fabrications and action the rework/return.
Documentation
•Develop and maintain quality documentation pertaining to active projects as per client standards.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience, with a focus on sourcing and purchasing materials for automation, engineering, or manufacturing companies.
Technical Skills:
•Able to interpret mechanical / electrical drawings along with their respective BOMs.
•Proficiency with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting including experience with Excel Macros.

Familiarity with the automation industry, key suppliers, and specific components related to automation and manufacturing processes.
General Skills:
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
