Responsible for ensuring all work withing department is executed to meet the needs of our clients. Ultimately responsible for the technical content and presentation of project deliverables from department. Manage multiple projects, FEED studies, detailed design and client relationships. Build and lead a team of process engineers.

- Demonstrate a total understanding of the technical work performed and the work processes.

- Manage department resource pool to ensure appropriate fit for project workload and experience needs.
- Assure Professional Engineering licensure within the department to adequately support sealing requirements for projects.
- Assure quality checking of all Process department deliverables.
- Coordinate all technical Process design activities.
- Drive continuous improvement in department work processes.
- Assist with proposal development.
- Evaluate department employees and assist with developing/implementing employee growth plans.
- Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate design and layout of equipment.
- Work on project teams with other engineering disciplines.
- Develop scope and cost on the front end of projects; perform FEED studies.
- Proficient in review of process modeling software results (HYSYS, Aspen Plus, ProMax,etc.).
- Perform debottleneck studies; identify process improvement projects to reduce operating costs.
- Assess and communicate project priorities (client and staff).
- Management of project budgets.
- Facilitate client and staff meetings (information flow).
- Preparation of regular status reports.
- Manage project action items.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (four year college or university)
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of related experience
Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), HYSYS
Certificates & Licenses: PE preferred, but not required.
