Pressure vessel fitter/welder

Overview

We are seeking a skilled pressure vessel Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work on various projects involving pressure vessels and structural steel. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Perform welding tasks using various techniques and equipment, ensuring high-quality welds.

- Assemble and fit components according to specifications and blueprints.

- Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move materials and equipment as needed.

- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in welding and fitting, with knowledge of different welding techniques.

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

- Familiarity with pressure vessels is preferred.

- Experience operating cranes, forklifts is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
