Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of various machining processes. The Press Brake Operator will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure that specifications are met and production goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

•

Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.

•

Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and basic math skills to ensure accuracy in production.

•

Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance.

•

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

•

Set up and adjust machine settings based on job requirements.

•

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

•

Assist in the operation of additional machinery such as CNC, milling machines, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and lathe as needed.

•

Use cranes for moving heavy materials safely within the production area.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment.

•

Familiarity with laser cutting, CNC operations, plasma cutting, milling machines, and lathe is preferred.

•

Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.

•

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

•

Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

•

Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

•

Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

•

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

•

Willingness to adhere to safety standards and practices at all times.
