Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of various machining processes. The Press Brake Operator will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure that specifications are met and production goals are achieved.
Responsibilities
•Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
•Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and basic math skills to ensure accuracy in production.
•Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance.
•Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
•Set up and adjust machine settings based on job requirements.
•Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
•Assist in the operation of additional machinery such as CNC, milling machines, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and lathe as needed.
•Use cranes for moving heavy materials safely within the production area.
Qualifications
•Proven experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment.
•Familiarity with laser cutting, CNC operations, plasma cutting, milling machines, and lathe is preferred.
•Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
•Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
•Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
•Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
•Willingness to adhere to safety standards and practices at all times.
