Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to fabricate metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

•

Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components as per engineering drawings and specifications.

•

Conduct quality inspections of finished products using tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.

•

Collaborate with the fabrication team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

•

Utilize forklifts and cranes for material handling as necessary.

•

Assist in programming the press brake machine for specific tasks, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

•

Participate in routine maintenance of machinery to ensure proper functioning.

•

Report to work as scheduled consistantly.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

•

Familiarity with machining processes, including milling machines, is a plus.

•

Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and tools such as micrometers.

•

Knowledge of GD&T principles is highly desirable.

•

Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely and effectively.

•

Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•

A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
