Press Brake and Roll Operator

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, diligent, and detail-oriented Press Brake and Plate Roll Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication, fitting, and welding knowledge within a steel manufacturing environment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate the press brake as the primary responsibility and the plate roll as required, using proper materials, tooling, forming methods, and safe operating procedures.

- Safely operate overhead cranes and adhere to all established lifting and operating procedures.

- Take initiative in ensuring regular maintenance is performed on the press brake, shear, and plate rolls.

- Complete additional fabrication or shop-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of press brake experience in a metal fabrication shop (required).

- Experience operating a plate roll (asset).

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

- Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, materials, and fabrication equipment.

- Good physical condition and mobility to work safely in a shop environment.
