Preparation Plant General Labor/ Welder

Description:

NexGen Industrial is an industrial construction company servicing the Coal Mining, Mining, and Industrial Electrical/ Construction industries. This position is a coal mine maintenance positions. Servicing preparation plants for CONSOL Energy. Work consists of structural steel, pipe, screen, and any other maintenance, welding, or coal mine maintenance work needed.

Responsibilities:

- Preparation plant maintenance. This includes working on equipment, mechanical maintenance, and welding on coal preparation equipment, and any and all other tasks customer may provide.

- Maintaining a safe work environment

- Welding structural steel o other mining equipment.

- Any and all labor tasks associated with maintenance of the preparation plant.

Work Requirements:

- 2 years experience in coal mine maintenance operations. (Preferred)

- Mechanically inclined

- Must be familiar with stick welding processes.

- 2+ Years stick welding preferred.

- MSHA Surface Training can be provided.

- Must be able to pass a hair follicle.

Qualifications

- Industrial mechanic experience

- Mechanical knowledge

- Welding and stick welding skills

- Ability to interpret schematics and perform precision measurements

- Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation

- Strong work ethic

- Reliability/ Punctuality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
