Position Summary:

Opportunity to apply theoretical skills learned in the classroom and apply in a company, both working in the field. Work will include hands on as well as an office element.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with field construction and maintenance.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.

- Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.

- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Education and Experience:

- Currently enrolled in the Electrical Power Systems or the Electrical Engineering program at a college or university

- Previous hands-on experience in this field would be an asset.

The hourly range is $18.50 to $21.00 per hour. Actual hourly ranges will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth’s total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards and benefits such as short-term incentives and health insurance, among others.
