Implement project portfolio management processes. Manage activities in accordance with assigned customers’ contracts and appropriate customer requests, contributing to customer retention by maintaining excellent service and communication.
Conduct bi-weekly meetings to review portfolio status, including each portfolio’s KPI (Key
Performance Indicators) as agreed upon with internal management.
Support client requests as received and escalate to senior management as appropriate.
Support portfolio event(s) and escalate, when appropriate, to senior management.
Support technicians, responding to their performance needs/concerns, and alerting management, HR,
Payroll, and/or other departments as appropriate, while maintaining confidentiality. Manage technicians, while supporting the company and encouraging their career development and learning.
Perform technician evaluations and provide guidance and coaching to them, with the support of management.
Review and approve daily and weekly timesheets for technicians assigned to work on assigned portfolio accounts. Manage overtime.
Request and submit purchase orders to obtain approval from the accounting department for charges above the specified amount.
Review, approve, create and dispatch assigned technicians’ vehicle maintenance, any appropriate paid time or unpaid time off per company policy, and training work orders per operating procedures.
Collaborate with scheduling team to provide the assigned technicians a two-week look-ahead.
Maintain, establish, and submit new project preventative maintenance schedules. Collaborate with schedulers to maintain portfolio schedules on a periodic basis.
Maintain existing and enter new project inventory within the company inventory system.
Review daily/weekly all assigned employee work orders and follow work order operating procedures.
Review and ensure accuracy of the Portfolio Monthly Report.
Review and provide weekly updates to accounting team on the status of portfolio level proposals and work requests.
Update the weekly operations report for assigned portfolios, including utilization of technicians.
Collaborate and ensure that the technicians are capturing the relative details during their initial investigation to process warranty claims.
Schedule and perform (minimum 6 times per year) portfolio audits by conducting site and technician visits.
Travel to sites would be required for audits.
High School diploma or GED
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

- Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of electrical theory and PV power generating system fundamentals.
- Aptitude for learning and understanding operation of various testing equipment, tools and procedures utilized in the maintenance of PV power generation systems.
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate well with peers and other personnel, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Proficiency with MS Office application to include, but not limit to, MS Word and Excel, as well as an ability to learn new computer programs without difficulty.
