Job Title: Pool Construction Project Manager – Vinyl & Fiberglass Pools Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Construction Director / Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Pool Construction Project Manager – Vinyl & Fiberglass Pools is responsible for the full lifecycle management of residential pool construction projects, with a focus on vinyl liner and fiberglass pool installations. This position requires hands-on project coordination, team supervision, and client communication to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management

•

Plan, coordinate, and manage the construction of vinyl liner and fiberglass swimming pools from excavation to final handoff.

•

Create and maintain project timelines, schedules, and budgets.

•

Conduct site assessments and ensure proper layout and installation methods based on pool type.

Vinyl & Fiberglass-Specific Tasks

•

Oversee the setting and leveling of fiberglass shells and ensure proper backfilling and plumbing support.

•

Manage vinyl liner installations, including wall panel assembly, bottom prep, and liner fitting.

•

Ensure compatibility of materials, site conditions, and installation requirements for both pool types.

Team Leadership

•

Supervise crews and subcontractors during excavation, plumbing, electrical, setting, and finishing stages.

•

Train and guide team members in the best practices specific to vinyl and fiberglass pool installations.

Client Communication

•

Act as the main point of contact for homeowners throughout the construction process.

•

Provide regular updates, address client questions, and manage expectations.

Quality Assurance & Safety

•

Perform quality control inspections at all critical stages.

•

Enforce compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.

•

Ensure pools meet all local building codes and manufacturer specifications.

Budget & Resource Management

•

Monitor expenses and ensure work stays within budget.

•

Order and coordinate delivery of pool shells, liners, and related materials.

•

Approve contractor invoices and submit progress reports.

Qualifications:

•

1+ years of experience in pool construction project management, with a strong emphasis on vinyl liner and fiberglass pools.

•

Solid knowledge of excavation, plumbing, electrical, and finishing work related to pool construction.

•

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and site plans.

•

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

•

Familiarity with permitting and inspection processes.

•

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Buildertrend, Jobber, MS Project).

Preferred Qualifications:

•

Experience managing residential pool projects from start to finish.

•

Construction Management certification or technical degree.

•

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

•

CDL or equipment operation experience preferred (e.g., skid steer, mini-excavator).

Work Environment:

•

Mix of office and field work.

•

Physical demands include site visits, climbing, lifting, and operating around machinery.

•

Travel to multiple job sites weekly; some weekend flexibility required during peak season.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
