Project Manager Commercial Construction

Sequoia is a commercial general contracting company that focuses on private construction projects. The projects are mostly located in the Chicagoland area, but we will consider any projects in Illinois. Sequoia’s portfolio includes retail, restaurant, industrial, medical, education, and religious projects.
Skills:
Project Manager must possess skills in planning, organizing, problem solving, goal setting, and time management. The applicant should have 2 years experience in managing commercial construction projects. Experience with software such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Procore is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must.
Job Description:
Project Manager must control the time, cost, and quality of their construction projects. They plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process including estimating, hiring contractors, and working with engineers, architects, owners, and vendors. A Project Manager will oversee multiple construction projects at any given time. An understanding of the construction business and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment are important for career success.
