Pond Care Sales & Greenhouse Representative

Never work Sundays, Holidays or Nights. We close everyday at 5pm. This is not a seasonable job. We are open all year long. We offer a great work/life balance. JOB DUTIES : We are looking for experienced sales associates to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with proven strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability. Sales isn't the only part of the job though. Additional Job duties will involve display pond upkeep, pond care, fish care, plant care, lifting 80lbs from the ground up, selling custom pond installations, problem solving, stocking and grounds upkeep and more. You will get dirty every day.

Our store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00pm. We are closed on Sundays. All employees have two days off a week. Individual hours vary within our operating times. All applicants must be able to work every Saturday without fail. We are closed on major holidays (except Memorial Day) and closed the week between Christmas Eve and New Years Day.

Qualified applicants must possess:

Minimum of 2 years consecutive employment with the same employer

Verifiable employment history.

Proven work experience as a Face to Face Representative, Hardware Associate, Sales Associate, Aquarium or Aquatic background or similar role.

Familiarity with consumer behavior principles.

Knowledge of basic hand tools, plumbing & fittings.

Good people skills

Ability to walk at a fast pace

Possess good phone/communication skills
