Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Controller to support the build-up of our new bushing factory in the USA. This role requires a hands-on mentality and the ability to work in a startup environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing finance processes from scratch and will act as a sparring partner for factory management.
Your Tasks:•Support the establishment of our new bushing factory in all finance-related areas.
•Lead project management initiatives to ensure the successful financial setup and operation of the plant.
•Implement and manage financial processes, reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting of the factory P&L.
•Analyze production KPIs and provide insights for operational improvement.
•Develop and maintain the costing scheme and calculation of hourly rates.
•Manage working capital effectively to support operational needs.
•Conduct operational reviews with operations and management teams.
•Act as a sparring partner for factory management, providing financial insights and recommendations.
•Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
•Support audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
•Monitor capital expenditures and support investment planning and analysis.
Requirements:
•Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controller in a manufacturing company.
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
•Strong knowledge and experience with SAP.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
•Demonstrated ability to implement processes from scratch in a startup environment.
•Excellent project management skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and management.
•Willingness to take on a hands-on approach and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
