SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Pipeline Scheduler executes, monitors, reconciles, investigates, and provides resolution for contracts, nominations, allocations, invoicing, and user testing associated with the transmission and storage of customers’ natural gas on the TransGas pipeline system, as well as TransGas’ contractual business with interconnecting pipelines and regulatory reporting. This position works with TransGas customers, abiding by specific deadlines and adherence to the TransGas Tariff.

Core Responsibilities
Daily Nominations
•Accept, verify, and confirm customers’ daily gas transportation and storage nominations to ensure amounts are within available capacity and contractual limits, manage daily service offerings within strict deadlines.
•Plan, track and balance gas nominations on interconnecting pipelines by investigating and determining how to resolve discrepancies and imbalances.
•Monitor Operational Balancing Agreements to ensure agreements are within tolerance, taking corrective action as required.
•Provide tracking and reporting to internal stakeholders such as Operations Planning and Gas Control to ensure safe and reliable system operation.
•Maintain TransGas and MIPL pipeline accounts within pre-defined tolerances, including the identification, adjustment and verification of account discrepancies.
•Calculate and validate Operation plans and nomination on interconnecting pipelines during outage and curtailment incidents.
•Oversee and monitor internal and counterparty submission in regulatory reporting to ensure no instances of non-compliance.
•Accountable for accurate volumetric allocations and data accuracy in regulatory reporting.
Allocations and Invoicing
•Work with Common Stream Operators to determine, implement and enforce the best match for allocation methodologies to accurately reflect customers’ daily activities on the pipeline.
•Verify, investigate, and resolve issues with daily and monthly customer gas allocations and inventory, transportation contracts, measurement, storage, and shipper balancing on TransGas Energy Pool accounts.
•Calculate proration to verify, investigate and resolve issues related to invoices, rates, measurement, and system balancing and accounting.
•Prepare and reconcile monthly invoice records.
•Monitor and approve TransGas customer arrears activities in conjunction with the TransGas Rates group.
•Maintain Tiered Rates and associated Rate data in the TransGas business systems.
Contracting and Web Security
•Create, maintain, analyze, and issue customer documentation such as contracts, amendments, and service agreements in accordance with the TransGas Tariff.
•Set-up and maintain business party and meter information, focusing on accuracy and data integrity.
•Obtain facility, capacity, credit reviews, registered company name verification and other requisite approvals from a variety of systems and stakeholders.
•Oversee and maintain customer security for web applications.
•Prepare and distribute customer communication for tolerance changes, service offerings and contact updates.
•Participate in third-party pipeline outage and curtailment planning and communications.
•Initiate quarterly customer performance review, ensuring correct rate classes and reviewing customer usage to make recommendations for customer contracts.
Customer Service
•Receive and respond to customer service requests within deadlines and in accordance with Company policies and the TransGas Tariff.
•Develop, document and execute changes to procedures and internal processes resulting from TransGas policy changes.
•Participate in the creation of new TransGas policies/procedures to improve performance in customer service, data integrity, department efficiency of customer gas accounts and/or statistical reporting.
•Support annual business system upgrades, identify and troubleshoot system defects and/or user errors, and develop and execute on test scripts and plans.
•Develop and deliver training for customers on the TransGas business system, policies, procedures and reporting requirements.
•Lead the on-going maintenance and audit of system configuration and data across multiple platforms as it relates to departmental processes, ensuring data integrity and timely customer service.
•Work with outside agencies and regulators (e.g., Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Canada Revenue Agency, peer organizations, etc.) to resolve data integrity and reporting issues.

Qualifications
•Diploma in Business or Information Technology.
•Two (2) years' experience processing data included reconciling, validating, and investigating data and providing issue resolution.
•One (1) year of experience in the operation of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheet, database, financial systems, internet, email, and automated workflow applications.
•One (1) year of experience in customer service or customer facing role.
•Pre-Qualifying Assessment.
