Production Scheduler

The Production Scheduler will be responsible for setting up work orders on to cutting orders while maximizing plant and cost efficiency by minimizing scrap and set-up changes. The Scheduler will work with other departments to determine appropriate customer sizes to ensure timely execution of customer orders and will establish and recommend set-ups on parameters for orders. Must have basic written and oral math and communication skills, attention to detail, along with the ability to multi-task and a basic understanding of steel terminology and steel processing. Experience with steel production, customer service and shipping operations a plus.
