THE POSITION
Keyera is currently seeking a Logistics Scheduler to join our Calgary based Commercial Operations team. The scheduler will be responsible for scheduling on the Keyera operated Fort Saskatchewan Condensate and NGL Pipeline systems. The successful candidate will also provide back-up support for other functions in the logistics group as required. The individual will be responsible for ensuring required information is effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities•Actively manage pipeline and facility nominations, reconcile nominations with actual deliveries and manage discrepancies.
•Track and analyze shipper nominations to ensure contractual alignment and capacity availability.
•Manage storage levels for all parties at designated facilities.
•Provide detailed reporting on customer activities as well as ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
•Actively track product transfers within and between adjoining facilities as well as associated pipeline, rail, and truck shipments.
•Distribute storage, truck and rail lifting reports.
•Assist in coordinating and managing facility outages.
•Communicate effectively with customers.
•Work closely with internal teams to optimize assets and service delivery to customers.
•Month-end reporting and reconciliations.
•Provide back-up coverage for scheduling Edmonton Terminal, KAPS pipeline and FSCS/FSPL facilities.
•Assist with the C5 Dailies/Schedule KAPS/FSCS pipelines.
•Work collaboratively with teams to identify and communicate issues and opportunities to enhance operational and business results.
•Liaise effectively with customers, facilities and connecting pipelines.
•Provide back-up support for other functions in the logistics group as required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service oriented leader with the following qualifications:
•A Bachelor’s degree in a related field: Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
•5 or more years of experience dealing with monthly nominations, 3rd party Storage and Inventory positions as well as trucking knowledge.
•Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organization skills.
•Ability to ensure detailed product flows are managed within the broader context of facility capabilities, varied contractual obligations and changing operational conditions.
•Advanced computer skills in Excel and Microsoft word.
•Ability to process multiple transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
•Previous related work experience in NGL operations is an asset.
•Working knowledge of marketing and logistics systems (eg E-one,) is an asset.
