Pipeline Laborer

We are currently seeking a skilled a Pipeline Laborer to join our team. As a Pipeline Laborer, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of underground utility systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Possess knowledge of underground utilities and pipeline systems

- Operate and maintain various equipment and tools required for excavation, installation, and repair work

- Use McElroy Fusion Equipment for fusing pipe.

- Perform manual labor such as digging with a shovel, loading material, carrying material

- Ability to drive trucks and trailers to transport materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites. CDL license is a plus

- Be familiar with or driven to learn how to conduct pressure and leak tests, as well as repairs to maintain system integrity

- Be familiar with or driven to perform fusion of plastic pipes, ensuring secure and reliable connections

- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and project completion

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)

-Be a team player and understand the job has to get done, so you will do more than your job title, when needed

- Be a problem solver and follow instructions from your supervisor

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments

- Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus

REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

- live in the area and/or be able to get yourself to and from work daily

- be willing to train in our online, Operator Qualification (OQ) Program, on your and by the , to meet federal regulations to provide underground utilities

- have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- pass a drug test and a background check

- make a commitment to be at work every day, be dependable, and reliable

- be willing to work some Saturdays and overtime

- be able to do heavy lifting
