Position: Physical Natural Gas Trader

📍 Location:

Houston, Texas

Position Objective:

Responsible for understanding and validating positions from internal deal capture, executing daily and monthly natural gas purchase and sale transactions, imbalance management, fundamentals reporting, invoice preparation, monitoring the billing process, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements:

✅ Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering, Economics, or Finance)

✅ 1-3 years of experience in natural gas trading

✅ Experience in South Central / West Texas region is preferred

✅ Will consider a candidate with a strong scheduling experience on the related pipelines

✅ Knowledge of U.S. and Mexico natural gas markets

✅ Ability to produce fundamentals reports and develop a market view

✅ Direct contact with natural gas marketers

✅ Understanding of the natural gas industry and terminology

✅ Familiarity with the natural gas value chain

✅ Knowledge of U.S. regulations

✅ (Plus) Advanced Spanish
