Duties

- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments with speed and precision

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries

- Upsell products and services through friendly suggestions and product demos to enhance the customer experience

- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented

- Handle cash responsibly, perform cashiering duties efficiently, and balance registers at shift end

- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when taking orders or providing information over the phone

- Support inventory management by stocking shelves regularly and conducting stock counts as needed

Experience

- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required

- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential

- Supervising experience is an asset for those interested in leadership opportunities

- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
