Location: Eunice, LA (This is an "in-office" position and not eligible for hybrid or remote work)
This role is critical to supporting our employees and ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing across multiple companies. The Payroll Clerk is responsible for the complete weekly processing of payroll, including accounting for a variety of deductions, generating and reconciling payroll reports, reviewing payroll tax filings, supporting year-end payroll activities, and handling payroll-related correspondence. Given the nature of this role, a high level of discretion and confidentiality is required at all times.
- End-to-end weekly payroll processing for multiple companies
- Accurate calculation and reconciliation of payroll deductions
- Preparation, review, and reconciliation of payroll reports
- Review of payroll tax returns and related documentation
- Year-end payroll processing and reporting
- Responding to payroll inquiries and correspondence in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of payroll experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care and professionalism
