Patch-N-Paint

Responsible for performing designated duties in the Paint and Patch department following VFP guidelines to create an acceptable and superior exterior finish.

1. Grind columns, roofs, and floors to a smooth surface to prepare for mud and paint.

2. Spray toner on buildings.

3. Mud columns, roofs, and floors to VFP specifications.

4. Paint columns, roofs, and windows.

5. Level floors around weld plates.

6. Repair cracks and chips using mud and/or rock patch, depending upon severity of crack.

7. Patch broken floors, columns, and roofs, retouching with toner and paint once repair is made.

8. Maintain good housekeeping practices with emphasis on safety regulations.

9. Perform other tasks as required by supervisor / manager.

Education

1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) desired.

2. Minimum of six (6) months’ paint experience

3.Ability to solve problems in a variety of situations.
