Parts Person

We are looking to grow our team at our Fort St. John Branch!

Position: Full Time, Permanent - Parts Person

Shift: Field work and shop, 10 - 12 hour days

Responsibilities:

- Ship, receive and securely store materials

- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe manner including industrial forklifts, loaders and skid steers

- Perform heavy lifting in a safe manner

- Ensure the safe and productive completion of parts storage

- Perform duties such as setting minmax levels, picking and filling orders, cycle and inventory counts

- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

- Creating parts and consumables list for equipment and trucks

- Ability to establish good relationships and be respectable with our vendors

- Deliver hotshot parts when required

What do we require?

- Hold all current/valid tickets required for field work

- Must be a minimum 3rd year apprentice, preference to Red Seal Parts Technician

- Class 5 Driver's License and Clean Driver's Abstract

- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

- Team oriented with excellent communication skills

- Must be willing to work long and flexible hours when required

- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening

- Must be willing to obtain tickets that may be required

- Willing after hours calls and prioritize demands

- Reports to Coordinators and Equipment Manager
