Painter Helper

Job Summary

Steel manufacturing company in search of a Painter/ Helper to assist with various painting tasks. In this role, you will support painters by preparing surfaces, handling tools, and assisting with various painting projects in our fabrication shop.

Duties.

- Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support painting tasks.

- Support the application of paint using air spray equipment, brushes, rollers, or other methods on various surfaces.

- Read blueprints, schematics, or construction drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.

- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly.

Qualifications

- No experience is necessary, but preferred

- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety procedures on construction sites.

- Ability to read blueprints or schematics related to construction painting projects.

- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety protocols.

- Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive attitude toward supporting senior team members in completing projects efficiently. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
