Painter / Body shop Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. This position focuses on prepping, painting, and finishing golf carts, generators, horse trailers, and other small-to-medium equipment. The ideal candidate has experience with automotive or equipment painting and takes pride in producing high-quality, professional finishes.

Schedule: Monday–Friday (No weekends) - 7:30am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for bodywork, painting, including sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming.

- Apply paint using spray guns and other appropriate equipment.

- Match and mix paints to achieve correct colors and finishes.

- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

- Perform touch-ups, detailing, and refinishing as needed.

- Maintain paint booth, tools, and work area for safety and cleanliness.

- Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE.

Qualifications

- Experience painting vehicles, equipment, or trailers (automotive painting experience a plus).

- Knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation.

- Ability to operate HVLP spray guns and related tools.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

- Ability to work independently and maintain consistent productivity.

- Ability to lift 40+ pounds and work in various shop environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with custom paint jobs or graphics.

- Knowledge of bodywork or repairs.

- Familiarity with golf carts, generators, or trailers.
